Whole-Body Improvement
Rolf Structural Integration is a powerful whole-body overhaul that will
eliminate deep and long-held patterns of tension, imbalance, and
compression. This work provides long-term improvement for lasting ease,
capability, agility, and confidence in the body. Done with sensitivity,
kindness and patience, the overall feeling of receiving this work is one
of relief. The results are often astounding.
How This Is Done
Structural Integration re-shapes and re-structures the body by
lengthening the connective tissue and guiding the body-segments into
proper alignment. Also known as fascia, connective tissue is the thin
membranous tissue that wraps and connects all of the muscles, bones, and
organs, forming a three-dimensional web throughout the body. By
thoroughly lengthening this tissue through direct manual pressure in
combination with simple movement education, the entire skeletal
structure is released from restriction and given the opportunity to
shift. This intelligent process works gently and systematically over a
series of sessions from the surface of the body through the core.
Results
|
The muscles and surrounding tissues are lengthened so that the
entire body will decompress and become supple |
|
The joints are released from restriction and aligned to move
more smoothly and easily |
|
The body segments are vertically aligned to properly support
one-another and relieve the muscles from unnecessary tension
|
|
The muscles are unstuck from each other so that each muscle can
properly do its job |
|
The organs are given internal space and structural support to
function with greater efficiency and vitality |
